1. Runners start out in the 10K. THe 10K was run on the last 10K of the marathon course, also finishing in Mountaineer Stadium at Western State College.
2. Runners crossed the finish line and went through the giant Mountaineer.
3. The 10K had two dog competitors.
4. Steve Cathcart of Ft. Collins (and Western State Cross Country Alum) wins the MountainAir Marathon in 2:57:34.
5. Runners from all over the state came to compete in the first annual Mountain Air Marathon.
6. The course started in Crested Butte at an altitude of 8850' and ran down to Western State College at an elevation of 7750'. Along the way, runners had incredible views of the surrounding mountains.
