1. Runners start from Dead Horse Point State Park in the Moab Marathon.
2. After an 8 mile rolling section, runners turn west and start the long descent down to Moab. Here, runners run with a breath taking background of the La Sal Mountians.
3. Colorado Runner publisher Derek Griffiths takes a break for a photo during the race.
4. Runners begin the quad crushing descent from miles 18 - 20.
5. Runners come out of the canyon at mile 20.
6. Allen Griffiths finishes the Moab Marathon in 5:17.
