22-year-old Joel Hamilton easily wins the second Lookout Mountain Hill Climb. Joel covered the 4.25 mile course from the Colorado School of Mines to the summit of the Chimney Gulch Trail in 33:16, over a minute faster than second place.

Susan Nuzum of Boulder won her third race in the LaSportiva Front Range Frenzy to claim the overall series title. Susan finished the Hill Climb in 43:16. Michael Selig did not run in the final race as he had already wrapped up the series win with his victory at the Golden Gate Canyon Race.

Jennifer Cubillas finished a close second in 44:00.

55-year-old Buzz Burrell finished sixth overall in 41:12.

10-year-old Jacques Moreau finished in 56:00.
