Over 1,000 runners and walkers start the Turkey Day 5K in Highlands Ranch. The overcast skies made for a chilly run as temperatures only reached 22 degrees.

Jon Grey of Lancaster, PA was the first finisher, running 17:14 over the rolling course.

Chris Sweeney of Highlands Ranch was the second finisher, running 17:10.

Kyle Bernhardy of Highlands Ranch was third in 17:20.

14-year-old Dominique Gerard was the first female finisher, running 19:52.

Stephanie Popular of Parker was the second female, running 20:19.

11-year-old Taylor Gerard (sister of the winner) was the third female, running 21:00.
