3. Anguel Tolev (left) of Thornton (Thornton HS) sprints to the finish with Emil Heineking (middle) of Chardon, OH and Elliott Heath (right) of Winona, MN. Anguel would beat both of them to the line, finishing in second place in 15:10.

4. Evan Appel (right) of Littleton (Dakota Ridge HS) finishes just ahead of Joe Manilafasha (middle) of Denver (Denver North HS). Eval finished fifth in 15:12 and Joe finished sixth in 15:13.

5. Richard Medina (right) of Grand Junction (Grand Junction HS) nips De'Sean Turner of Indianapolis for the final qualifing spot. His eighth place finish saw him cross the line in 15:18.

6. Katilyn Vanatta of Arvada (Ralston Valley HS) finished second in 17:16.

7. Kristen McGlynn of Bailey (Platte Canyon HS) finished fifth in 17:50.
