The El Grito 5K celebrates Mexican Independence. This year, almost 400 people came out for the El Grito 5K. Leading the way to the finish line was Ryan Kirkpatrick, who ran a blistering 15:07 on the streets of Denver. Ryan's winning time was 83 seconds faster than second place!

La Flecha Hernandez leads Tate Behning to the finish in second place, crossing the line in 16:30 to Tate's 16:31.

Keith Johnson was the first masters runner, running 17:05 and finishing fifth.

Patti Baumen was the first female finisher, crossing the line in 22:06.

Micol Rothman-Haji finished as the third female in 22:39.

Sandra Garcia leads Alyn Park to the finish line. Sandra finished as the second female in 22:38 while Alyn was fourth in 22:41.
