1. James Johnson leads Brice Young (both of Boulder) at the first mile. Johnson would pull away over the final two miles to win in 16:34, with Young finishing second in 17:04.

2. Christine Knight of Louisville leads Carl Schmitt of Boulder at two and a half miles. Knight was the first female to cross the line, running 18:43 while Schmitt finished in 18:45.

3. Heather Fredriksen of Boulder was the second female, clocking a time of 19:31.

4. Will Kelsay of Boulder runs 17:54.

5. Scott Taylor of Erie, Mike Sandrock of Boulder and Jonathan Peeters of Boulder (L to R) run together at the two and a half mile mark. Taylor finished in 18:33, Peeters in 18:37, and Sandrock in 18:43.

6. Littleton's Jessica Griffiths sports a new Colorado Runner technical running shirt. Jessica finshed her first race in over 9 months after being laid up with an injury.

7. Katherine Sorenson of Boulder tags along for a ride with her pooch. They finished in 27:05.

8. 10-year-old Brianna Wilson of Boulder (58), 9-year- old Madelyn Patterson of Boulder (34), 8-year-old Courtney Hook of Boulder and 9-year-old Sarah Patterson of Boulder (obscured) run together at the first mile. They are running with Donna Wilson and an unidentified man. They all finished around 37:20.
