1. Hector Martinez of Northglen cruises to victory in the 16M, running just over 6:00/mile and finishing in 1:38:42, six minutes faster than second place. The Crazy 8's was the second race in the Boulder Running Company Winter Distance Series presented by Brooks. The third and final race is the Snowman Stampede on 25 February 2006 at Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora.

2. Just off his second place finish at the SunMart 50K last month, Jason Saitta of Parker won the 8M, crossing the line in 45:35.

3. Justine Miani of Littleton finishes as the fourth female in the 16M, running 2:04:00.

4. Jeri Wolf of Centennial enjoys the views at Aurora Reservoir.

5. Susie Noda of Westminster finishes the 8M in 1:19:23, an average of 9:56/mile.

6. Steven and Ashley Hartle of Highlands Ranch and Dana Goeglein of Centennial (L to R) run together in the 8M.

7. Randy Marcove of Denver flexes as he runs the 16M. He would finish in 2:33:01.

8. Sandra Rutkowski of Arvada finished third in the 40- 49 age group in the 16M, running 2:11:00.

9. Laurie Fritts of Superior finishes the 8M in 1:03:44.

10. Craig Ewing of Sedalia finishes the 8M in 1:02:51, good enough for second in the 50-59 year age group.
