1. Benson Cheruiyot (right), Charles Kamindo of Boulder (center) and Andrew Smith of Denver run together at the two mile mark of the half marathon. Benson would pull away to win in a course record 1:08:58, earning $1,000. Charles finished second in 1:10:57 ($500) and Andrew was third in 1:13:11 ($250).

2. Naomi Wangui ran away from the women's field in the half marathon, winning in a new course record of 1:20:20, more than 13 minutes faster than second place and good for seventh overall.

3. A group of runners at two miles of the half marathon.

4. Lisa Goldsmith of Nederland finised the full marathon as the second female and first masters runner. She picked up a check for $1,000 for her efforts. Her time was 3:17:42. The female winner was Patty Rogers of Denver who set a new course record of 3:09:36, picking up $2,000 for the overall victory.

5. Steve Krebs of Lakewood finished second in the marathon in 3:00:30, also winning $1,000 for finishing second. Justin mock of Boulder was the overall winner in 2:53:41, earning $2,000. Steve also finished seventh at the Colorado Marathon in Ft. Collins two weeks prior to this event.

6. Art Siemers of Golden helps the Boulder Running Company's Elite Distance Team finish third in the USATF National Club Relay Championships. The relay cosisted of five legs of 10K, 5K, 10K, 5K, 12K. The national champions were the Hanson-Brooks Distance Project.

7. Patty Murry of Boulder helps the Rocky Mountain Distance Team finish second int he national relay championships.
