1. Runners start off on the first leg of the Chilly Cheeks Winter Duathlon at Cherry Creek State Park in Denver. The race consisted of a run/bike/run/bike format.

2. Everett Minett of Eagle runs towards the first transition area. He finished seventh overall in a time of 1:01:26.

3. Robert Kelly of Northglenn participates in his first ever duathlon. Robert has lost over 70 pounds working himslef into shape.

4. Jacqui Pesa of Superior was the fourth female to finsih, crossing the line in 1:13:01. However, she was the first female in the Fat Tire divsion.

5. Dave Muscianisi of Littleton comes towards the finish after the second bike stage. He was ninth overall in 1:02:29.

6. Mark Gavach of Boulder give the "hang loose" salute as he approches the first transition area. Mark finished 17th overall and fifth in the Fat Tire division, crossing the line in 1:06:21.

7. Rick and Christine Zimmerman of Morrison finish up the final leg.

8. Doug Berling of Northglenn finishes the final bike en route to a 1:15:24 finish.
