Second place finisher Eric Walker of Greeley (3:03:10) leads eventual winner Johannes Rudolph of Boulder (2:54:04) near the nine mile marker of the marathon. This years event had 381 finishers.

20-year-old Paul Brown of Ft. Collins, the Early leader, hit the wall near the end and faded to 27th in 3:27:09

Rigoberto Urbano of Leon Guanauato, Mexico finished sixth in 3:08:14.

Laura Bruess of Boulder (right) finished as the first female in the marathon in 3:13:49. In the photo she is running with (left to right) Greg Onofrio of Lakewood (3:20:12), Nate Monson of Boulder (3:11:27), Ralph Rogers of Boulder (3:10:41) and an unidentified runner without a bib number.

Shannon Kerth of Highlands Ranch was the second female finisher in the marathon, running 3:25:45.

DJ Hummel of Broomfield is feeling good at mile nine. He would pass numerous people on his way to a third place finish in 3:05:20.

Todd Hagadone of Mt. Solon, VA leads eventual Jonathan Huie of Colorado Springs near the eight mile marker of the half marathon. Jon finished in 1:15:03 to Todd's 1:15:17.

Jonathan Peeters of Boulder finished third in the half marathon in 1:15:59.

Danielle Korb of Ft. Collins was the first female in the half marathon, running 1:23:07.

49-year-old Ellen Hart of Denver was the second female in the half marathon, crossing the line in a blistering 1:24:47.
