1. The guys get under way at the Best XC Race on the Planet in Boulder. This 6.275K XC race consisted of three 2K loops, which allowed for a lot of chances for the spectators to see the race.

2. Michael Aish of Gunnison, Luke Watson of Minneapolis, Austin Vigil of Ft. Collins, Pete Julian of Boulder, and Kristian Agnew of Boulder (L to R) push the pace on the start of the second loop. Luke Watson would pull away from Michael Aish over the last kilometer for the win in 19:45 to 19:51.

3. Andy Ames of Boulder (left) and Bill Fanselow of Golden run together. Andy finished as the first masters running in 22:01, good enough for 18th place. Bill, was two seconds back.

4. The start of the women's race saw Brooke Kish of Evergreen, Carrie Messner of Carbondale, Collen De Reuck of Boulder, Renee Metivier of Boulder, and Nicole Aish of Gunnison (L to R) pushing the pace.

5. Colleen De Reuck starts to pull away from Renee Metivier on the start of the final lap. Colleen would hit the tape in 22:49 to Renee's 23:03.

6. Connie Ahrnsbrak of Lakewood finishes first in the 65- 69 age group, clipping the tape at 34:03.

7. Dathan Ritzenhien of Boulder leads the kids on their way during the kids run.
