1. Runners head out from Security Service Field, home of the Colorado Sky Sox, in the Alex Hoag Run For Sunshine 5K.

2. Michael Nicks of Colorado Springs wins the 5K in a course record time of 15:12. This was done one a very hilly course at 6600'!

3. Kelly Handel of Manitou Springs leads Emily Shertzer of Colorado Springs to the finish. Kelly's time of 18:58 was one second faster than Emily. The first four female finishers all broke the previous course record of 19:20.

4. Sandu Rebenciul of Colorado Springs wins the Mizuno Mile in 4:46 and then finishes third in the 5K in 15:38.

5. Emily Brzozowski of Colorado Springs is the first female in the Mizuno Mile in 5:36. She followed that up with a fourth place finish in the 5K in 19:14.
