Nike Team Nationals Links; Fernandez Breaks 2 Mile Record
German Fernandez, from California, ran 8:34:40 for 2 miles at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, NC on Friday breaking the National High School record of 8:36.3 set in 1979. Fernandez also broke another record in the process---by running 7:59.38 for 3000 meters thus breaking the previous record of 8:03:67.
