Torres scores top-20 finish for Team USA at World Cross Country Championships
EDINBURGH, GBR - Alex Gits (Edina, MN) finished 13th in the junior women's race and Jorge Torres (left, Boulder, CO) finished 19th in the senior men's race to lead Team USA at the 36th IAAF World Cross Country Championships Sunday at Edinburgh's Holyrood Park.
Registration Open for Couples Relay
March 21, 2008 -- Registration is now open for a new, unique running race/run - the Couples Relay. The Couples Relay event is a two-person relay race. Each member of the team runs one 5k to 4 mile lap. A team can be Female/Male, Female/Female, or Male/Male. Runners and walkers are welcome.

Ryan Shay: Autopsy Results Revealed
Update - Ryan Shay's autopsy results were released on Tuesday, March 18. The toxicology reports were negative and the autopsy revealed he died of natural causes.

DICK'S Sporting Goods BolderBOULDER Offers New Time Bonus Structure for 2008 International Team Challenge
BOULDER, CO - (March 17, 2008) - At the 30th DICK'S Sporting Goods BolderBOULDER athletes in the International Team Challenge (ITC) will compete for time bonuses in addition to the existing $110,600 prize purse. This change coincides with a switch from the criterium-style course used since 1998 to the point-to-point 10K (6.2 mile) course.

Gateway Canyons Better Half Marathon and 5M (Gateway, CO)
“The Better Half Marathon” was a fantastic event that is run through the spectacular red rock Dolores River Canyon near the Colorado/Utah border. This event had approximately 100 entrants, so it was a very small scale and low-key affair. The course was generally level with some good hills but, thankfully, no monsters. Because the race was run along a lightly used highway, the road remained open.
