Rudolph's Revenge 5K/10K (Littleton, CO)
A record 529 runners and walkers took to the snow packed roads
and bike paths of Chatfield State Park for the third annual
Rudolph's Revenge 5K and 10K. Defending 10K champion and
Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier James McGown drove the three
hours down from Sidney, NE again this year for the event. He
defended his championship, running 35:38 over
the hilly and slick course. Heather Hunt, also an Olympic
Marathon Trails qualifier, from Englewood was the first female
finisher, running 41:25. Nigel Miller of Laramie, WY (18:15)
and Melissa Menard of Denver (23:37) were victorious in the 5K.
