Littleton’s Paige Higgins has been winning road races in Colorado for the past several years, but in this year’s Chicago Marathon she made a splash on the national scene, placing seventh among women. She ran a personal best time of two hours, 40 minutes, and 14 seconds, despite oppressive heat.
