colorado women's classic

What better way to celebrate mom this weekend than by running the Colorado Women’s Classic! Kicking off Sunday morning at the Westminster Promenade Terrace in Westminster, the event features a 10 mile, 10K and 5K, all of which are run on the Big Dry Creek Trail.

All courses are out and backs on primarily concrete with some sections of hard packed gravel. All women will receive a women’s cut soft tee and a souvenir bib, with 10 mile finishers also receiving a finisher’s medal. The post-race party will be hosted by Twenty Brew Taphouse, where participants will receive 50% off their first pint.

Growing Home of Westminster is the local charity partner for the event. Bring 5 or more items for donation to Growing Home on race day and you’ll be entered into the race day raffle for swanky prizes from sponsors including free massages, gift cards, upcoming race entries & more.

Awards will be given to the top three overall women in each race distance as well as the top three women in each age group. Colorado is host to a plethora of speedy ladies; check out last year’s top finishers below.
