Release provided by Dave Trendler.
World champion trail runner and ski mountaineer Kilian Jornet is coming to Boulder Running Company on September 26 before racing the Ultrarunning World Championship. Jornet is among the world’s fastest trail runners and this summer set new world records on Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.
During a special sit-down Q&A session with Competitor magazine editor-in-chief Brian Metzler, Jornet will discuss his recent achievements, his ongoing Summits of My Life project, his expectations for the Ultra Race of Champions, and answer questions from the audience. Jornet will then autograph copies of his new international best-selling book Run or Die, released in English for the first time this summer and available to ticketholders for the special event price of $14. Jornet’s fellow Salomon athletes will be on hand to greet runners and Salomon will raffle special prizes for ticketholders.
Tickets for this event, which is limited to 300 people, are $5 and available exclusively at Boulder Running Company 2775 Pearl Street, Boulder, Colorado.

Kilian Jornet is a professional ultramarathoner, trail runner, ski mountaineer, and mountain running world champion. Born and raised at 6,000 feet above sea level in the Spanish Pyrenees, Jornet climbed an 11,000 foot mountain – the highest mountain in the region – at age 5. His mother taught him skills to survive the high alpine environment, and today during races he takes energy from the mountains around him. Learn more at www.velopress.com/authors/
