Boulder Half Marathon to Host the USATF Colorado Association Men’s and Women’s Half Marathon Championship on October 21st

The Boulder Half Marathon is pleased to host the USATF Colorado Association Men’s and Women’s Half Marathon Championship on October 21^st. This is the final event of the 2012 USATF Colorado Association Grand Prix Series.

The Boulder Half Marathon starts at 8am at the Boulder Reservoir.  The course goes around the beautiful Boulder backroads’ relatively flat dirt surface with a few hills. While progressing around the route, runners take in the amazing scenery from the wonderful farmlands and spectacular views of the Colorado Rockies.

Rudi’s Organic Bakery, Boulder Beer, and Qrunch Burgers along with many other sponsors will host the Celebration Party at the finish line.

Medals and trophies will be awarded to the winners and prize money totaling $4000 will go to the top finishers of the USATF Colorado Half Marathon Association Championship.

Prize Money:

Open Men/Women: 1^st- $500, 2^nd -$400, 3^rd -$300, 4^th -$250, 5^th-$200

Prize money is limited to 2012 USATF Colorado members, Colorado residents, and U.S. citizens.  Annual USATF memberships can be purchased here for $10.
