The city of Denver will be rockin’ this Saturday as runners (and bikers!) take to the streets for the Denver Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, Half Marathon, 2-Person Half Marathon Relay and Bike Tour. With thousands of participants expected, you can be sure that the city will be packed and that the competition will be fierce!
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Bike Tour starts at 6:45am, and the Marathon, Half Marathon and 2-Person Half Marathon Relay Wave start at 7:15am. All participants will take off from Civic Center Park, with the finish line and finish line festival also taking place at Civic Center Park.
The marathon and half marathon courses are as flat and festive as they come, with bands and music at almost every mile along the course. The race will take runners in and around all of Denver – the perfect city tour!
The full marathon and half marathon prize purses include a $1,000 first, $500 second and $250 third place award for both the top three men and women. There will also be age group awards presented three-deep in all divisions.
