Race Preview: Snowman Stampede 5M/10M

In less than 24 hours, runners will toe the line at Colorado Runner’s third installment of the Winter Distance Series: the Snowman Stampede 5 Miler and 10 Miler.  With a weather forecast calling for 44 degrees and mostly sunny conditions, racers will enjoy a flat and fast 5 and 10 mile course on Saturday starting and ending at Hudson Gardens in Littleton.

Not only will there be pristine conditions on race day, but there will also be some sweet goodies for runners at the finish line, including technical tees, delicious breakfast fare and hot beverages.  The overall male and female winner in each race will get a free pair of New Balance shoes.  Additionally, gift certificates from Runner’s Roost will be awarded to the top three in each age group in the amounts of $20, $15, and $10.
