Three runners from Utah took the top three spots at the Canyonlands Half Marathon, while Christi Webb from Farmington, NM took the female title.
Bryant Jensen from Ogden (1:11:48), Paul Peterson from Smithfield (1:12:10) and Joshua Steffen from Salt Lake City (1:13:43) led nearly 3,400 runners across the finish line in this iconic race in Moab. Marty Wacker from Grand Junction finished as the first master’s runner, finishing sixth in 1:16:33.
Christi Webb from Farmington (1:26:17), Suzanne Huelster from Riverton, NJ (1:26:39) and Christina Perry from Cottonwood Heights, UT (1:29:28) were the first three female finishers. Deeann Johnson from Winona, MN was the first female master’s finisher, running 1:32:18.
In the 5M, Quin Ralston from Colorado Springs led 763 runners to the finish, crossing the line in 29:39 while local runner Dayna Vanarsdol of Moab was the first female, running 34:10.
