Boulder Express is a sub elite competitive training and racing group focused on distance events and are coached by 3x Australian Olympic marathon runner Lee Troop.
BX athletes participate in weekly workouts and meet for organized long runs each Sunday in preparation for the various races that they compete in. Through their commitment to quality training and the diversity of athletes that comprise BX, they form an easily identifiable training and racing group in the Boulder community. As a result, BX has a recognizable group identity originating from their collective commitments to hard training, racing achievements, and team camaraderie.
Boulder Express consists of athletes – both male and female, who all live, work, and train in the Boulder area. Though local in presence, BX is truly international in accomplishments. Some athletes have represented the U.S., New Zealand, Canada, and England in a variety of international competitions.
