Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome or TTTS, alone kills twice as many babies per year as does SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), yet most of the population has never even heard of this syndrome. TTTS is a potentially life-threatening condition in pregnancy that exists when blood passes disproportionately between twins with a shared placenta.

Funds raised by the TTTS Race for Hope go to saving babies’ lives and giving hope to families by spreading awareness of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) and other fetal syndromes, providing needed financial and emotional support to families, providing medical assistance and by funding medical research. Thousands of multiple pregnancies are affected each year in the U.S. and most cases result in the loss of one or both babies. This national charity event will help hundreds of families across the US.

This year’s annual TTTS Race for Hope is coming to Denver for the 4th year with many fun and exciting activities that are being planned and some very special VIPs that are scheduled to attend. The Fetal Hope Foundation is a national nonprofit foundation based in Littleton, Colorado and supports hundreds of families across the US. The TTTS Race for Hope was started in Denver, Colorado and is now a national series that goes to cities across the country including Seattle, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Boston, Tampa and Houston and more are being added each year. SAVE THE DATE for the Fetal Hope Foundation’s largest race in the US is coming to Denver on Sunday, November 11, 2007!
